We have now been advertising Solaire Infrared Grills nationwide on the Hugh Hewitt Radio Show for one year. You may view his stations and play times at here (all times are Eastern). We recently had Hugh record six different scripts, which covered various aspects of Solaire. Two per week are being heard, with one dropping off and another adding into a weekly rotating schedule that will continue through the summer.
Our marketing team has put video to the first of these ads, which you may view here or by clicking on the graphic below. We plan on doing the same to the other ads. Please post this video on your Facebook page, Twitter, and your website to inform people about Solaire Infrared and to drive traffic to our landing page, www.BestHotGrill.com, from which the consumer can learn more about Solaire, Rasmussen Gas Log and Bromic Radiant Patio Heaters. |

Late last year we were asked by the Salem Radio Network to trade some of our Solaire Anywhere Portable Infrared Grills for advertising time. We felt this was win-win: they sent the Anywheres to their best advertisers as Christmas Gifts, and we used the advertising to reach a new audience on the Bill Bennett Radio Show. Bill’s show allowed us to reach the East Coast morning drive audience, from 6 to 9 am. Our advertising runs for seven weeks, ending the second week of June. You may view his stations and play times here (all times are Eastern). |

Rasmussen submitted comments last week in opposition to the Department of Energy’s Proposed Rulemaking that would prohibit standing pilot lights and lead to further regulation and restrictions on all gas hearth products during statutorily required reviews every five to six years. You may read Rasmussen’s comments here. On March 23, 2015, Rett Rasmussen testified at the DOE’s Public Meeting in Washington, D.C. You may read his statement at here. Rett also provided a good deal of input during the meeting, which you may read in the meeting transcript by clicking here. The ball is now in DOE’s court. They can withdraw the Proposed Rule, publish a Final Rule (which would take effect five years from that date) or request more information. Time will tell. On April 21, 2015, Google released a significant new ranking algorithm that’s designed to boost mobile-friendly pages in Google’s mobile search results. For a site to be considered mobile-friendly, its text has to be readable without tapping and zooming, its tap targets need to be spaced out appropriately, and the page avoids unplayable content or horizontal scrolling. In other words, the site simply needs to be easily usable from a mobile device. Google has clarified that the changes will only affect a site’s search ranking on mobile devices – and it only applies to individual pages, not entire websites. It also only impacts searches done on smartphones, not tablets. But since smartphone searches account for as much as 79% of local searches, you need to ensure that your website can be seen by mobile devices. (source http://searchenginewatch.com/sew/study/2339085/80-of-local-searches-on-mobile-phones-convert-study ) What should you do?
