Bromic has introduced a Remote Controller which provides ON/OFF control for up to 6000 watt per controller with two outputs. So, you can control one Tungsten 6000w, one Tungsten 4000w, two Tungsten 3000w or two Tungsten 2000w heaters from one controller. This same controller can be used to provide ON/OFF control for up to four Bromic Gas Heaters (Platinum 300 and 500, and Tungsten 300 and 500) from one controller. We have updated our Cooperative Advertising Program.

Changes include:

1. Includes Bromic Patio Heaters.
2. Prior approval of proposed qualifying action is required.
3. Displays are required to be in store for the product lines being advertised.
4. No competing products in ads.
5. Includes PPC, PPI and Visitor Retargeting programs.

Each potential qualifying action has specific requirements, and requires prior approval. Rasmussen has partnered with OwnerIQ to help drive consumers, who have visited our websites, to participating dealers’ showrooms.

Website visitors receive a “cookie” that results in ads being shown to them as they visit other websites around the web. The ads remind the consumer of where they have visited, and encourages them to further engagement by clicking the “Learn More” button. They are taken to a landing page that Rasmussen will create and co-brand with the dealer. This page will have product information, lead capture features that will result in automated follow-up emails to further nurture the consumer, as well as calls to action to send the consumer to the participating dealer in their area.

The cost to the dealer is $7 per 1000 impressions of the ads.

You may receive a call from OwnerIQ to explain this program. To participate, the dealer must:

1. Have displays for the product categories (Logs, Solaire and/or Bromic).
2. Have appropriate Rasmussen product categories displayed on their website.
3. Work with Rasmussen on the design of the landing page.
4. Provide data on sales derived from this program to Rasmussen so that accurate Return On Investment (ROI) and Revenue Per Impression (RPI) can be calculated.

Whether it be a gas log set or a Solaire Infrared Grill, the solution so often to many troubleshooting issues presented to us is … batteries.

Many people don’t consider that the power for the spark and remote operation has to come from somewhere. Time and heat will degrade the life of batteries, requiring their periodic replacement. To be on the safe side, most batteries should be replaced at the start of the season of greatest use. For example, Spring for Solaire and Fall for gas logs.

Also, be sure the batteries are indeed fresh, as “new” doesn’t always mean “fresh”. The use of a multimeter is the best way to ensure that the batteries to be used have the power needed to carry out the function(s) desired.

TR Rasmussen, Chairman of the Board, turned 85 on July 1. His birthday celebration was on Sunday with family and friends. Please raise a glass in his honor!
