With a listener demographic that mirrors the target market for Solaire Infrared Grills, we look to the advertising to provide a boost in national exposure and sales during the three biggest days for grilling: Memorial Day, Father’s Day and Independence Day. We have created a landing page at www.BestHotGrill.com, which allows us to track the response and effectiveness of the advertising, while leading consumers towards the purchase of a Solaire Infrared Grill through education and follow-up. We saw tremendous spikes in activity each time Solaire was mentioned during and after Rett Rasmussen’s interview by Hugh on his Entrepreneur Hour on April 21. Here is a list of the markets and stations that carry the Hugh Hewitt Show. If you wish to do radio advertising in your local market, you will do well to do so on the station in your market, to reinforce Hugh’s message to your customer base.

The Solaire Demo Rental Program is a “no touch” program that allows consumers to order a Solaire Grill made of the same materials, components, design and performance as our larger grills, and use it in their own backyard, grilling their favorite foods without a salesman looking over their shoulder, for two weekends and the week in between.

After returning the grill, we email the consumer a discount coupon for the price of the demo rental. They bring it to you, and you ask “what size Solaire do you want” and “will that be check, cash or credit card?” You discount the sales price by the coupon amount, then send the coupon and copy of sales invoice to us and we send you a check for half of the discount.

We recommended that dealers display, at a minimum, the following items:

Solaire 27XL Grill

SOL-AGBQ-27GIRXLC-LP or SOL-IRBQ-27GIRXLC-LP – the 27XL is our “sweet spot” of price and grilling area. The AGBQ has the rear infrared rotisserie burner and kit, the IRBQ does not. Which you display depends on your market. I find it easier to show the more expensive item and sell down, rather than to sell up from the lesser expensive one. Both represent our best selling grills.

Solaire Accent Grill

SOL-IRBQ-15-LP. This is the same grill we send for the Demo Program. With it, you can show the bullnose used in 30″ and larger grills (comparing to the 27XL). You should attach the grill to a propane tank so you can demonstrate to consumershow quickly the Solaire Infrared Burner heats up and it intensity, and how it differs with conventional grills that heat the air around the food, rather than the food directly.

Solaire Anywhere / Solaire Everywhere

Minimum of three Solaire Anywhere/Everywhere (SOL-EV17A and/or SOL-IB17B) portable infrared grills. One to show, the others to sell. These are great cash-and-carry items, great for gifts, but you need them on hand to sell them. We also offer several accessories for these, but you need the grills on your showroom floor.

With the above items, the Solaire Brochure and the QR code sticker we ship with each grill (which links to www.SolaireGrills.info), you can explain and represent the entire Solaire line with a modest investment (less than $3,000).
