Happy 96th Birthday, TR Rasmussen!
On July 1, the Rasmussen family gathered to celebrate TR’s 96th birthday. 2026 has been a tough year for him, suffering a stroke on February 25, which paralyzed his right side and robbed him of speech. But he is a resilient man, and after over two months of mostly sleeping, he is alert and expressive for much of the day. We incorporated the eating of cake daughter Cindy made into his speech therapy, and he very much enjoyed it! Son John Rasmussen played “Happy Birthday” on his cellos, and Dad applauded with his good hand. Every day is a blessing! Happy Birthday, TR!
